Description

Nothing’s worse than feeling your brake pedal go spongy when you’re hauling a loaded wagon down a hill or trying to stop with a heavy implement in tow. When your brakes start feeling spongy or you notice green fluid dripping from the master cylinder, it’s time for a replacement. This brake master cylinder restores that firm pedal feel and reliable stopping power your Deutz tractor was built to deliver.

What You’re Getting

  • Two-port configuration for dual brake circuit operation – gives you separate circuits for enhanced safety
  • Built with seals specifically designed for mineral oil – engineered to handle LHM fluid without degradation
  • Precision-bored cylinder maintains consistent pressure distribution to all wheels – no more dangerous pull to one side
  • Direct replacement design – mounts exactly like your original with existing brake lines

Built for Real Farm Work

Your Deutz Agrostar and Agrotron tractors are workhorses that handle everything from loader duties around the barn to pulling big implements across rolling fields. Deutz tractors are workhorses on dairy farms, row crop operations, and hay fields across the country. From the compact Agroplus models perfect for loader work and feeding cattle, to the big Agrotron MKIII series that can handle 12-row planters and large square balers, these machines need brakes that respond when it matters most.

Made to Last

Brake master cylinders take serious abuse on farm tractors. They’re exposed to extreme temperatures, from freezing winter mornings to scorching summer engine heat. This unit features robust internal seals that won’t deteriorate from constant pressure cycles or prolonged brake fluid exposure.

Installation Notes

Before installation, thoroughly clean the mounting area and check brake lines for damage. Bench bleed the new cylinder before mounting to remove air from the system. Critical reminder: this system uses LHM mineral oil only – never DOT brake fluid. After installation, bleed the entire system starting with the wheel farthest from the master cylinder. Many farmers successfully use 10W-30 transmission oil as an alternative to expensive LHM fluid.
