Description
When you’re pushing hard through harvest season or racing to get crops in before weather hits, the last thing you need is your Deutz diesel stuttering from contaminated fuel. This fuel filter is what stands between your expensive injection system and all the dirt, water, and debris that can turn a reliable tractor into a costly repair bill. Those modern Agrotron engines with their common rail injection and tight tolerances don’t forgive dirty fuel – and this filter keeps them running smooth when you need power most.
What You’re Getting
- Multi-stage filtration that removes water, dirt, and microscopic particles before they reach your injection system
- High-flow design maintains proper fuel delivery even when you’re pulling heavy loads during peak season
- Direct replacement that fits both standard Agrotron 6 series and 6TTV turbo models without modifications
- Advanced filtration media that catches particles you can’t even see while maintaining fuel flow
- Water separation capability protects against condensation and moisture contamination
Built for Modern Diesel Technology
Your Agrotron 6 series tractors pack serious technology under the hood – we’re talking injection pressures and tolerances measured in microns. Whether you’re running a standard model for general farm work or pushing a 6TTV hard during silage season, these engines demand clean fuel to perform. One tank of contaminated fuel can damage injector tips or score your injection pump, leaving you with repair bills that’ll make your eyes water.
Made to Last
This filter uses quality filtration media designed to handle today’s diesel fuel challenges, including biodiesel blends and the fine particles that seem to find their way into every fuel tank. The construction handles the constant vibration and temperature swings of field work, maintaining its seal and filtration performance season after season.
Installation Notes
Changing this filter takes about 15 minutes and is mounted on the engine block for easy access. Fill the new filter with clean diesel before installing to prevent air locks, and hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the surface, then another 3/4 turn – over-tightening crushes the gasket. Always prime the system after installation and keep a spare on the shelf since fuel problems always seem to happen at the worst possible times.
