Installation Notes
Changing this filter takes about 15 minutes and is mounted on the engine block for easy access. Fill the new filter with clean diesel before installing to prevent air locks, and hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the surface, then another 3/4 turn – over-tightening crushes the gasket. Always prime the system after installation and keep a spare on the shelf since fuel problems always seem to happen at the worst possible times.
