Description
Nothing’s more frustrating than watching expensive hydraulic oil drip onto your shop floor day after day. If you’ve got a puddle forming under your tractor’s PTO, that seal has given up the fight against heat, pressure, and thousands of hours of rotation. This 95x70mm seal puts an end to those leaks and keeps your transmission fluid where it belongs – protecting gears instead of staining concrete.
What You’re Getting
- Precision 95x70mm dimensions designed specifically for 4-cylinder applications
- Heat-resistant rubber compounds that stay flexible through temperature swings
- Steel-reinforced construction prevents distortion during installation and operation
- Half-shaft seal design provides optimal sealing pressure without excessive wear
- Compatible with both John Deere 6000 series and Zetor Crystal models
Built for Real Farm Work
This seal fits right into your John Deere 6100, 6200, 6300, 6400, 6500, or 6600 4-cylinder tractor, plus Zetor Crystal models. Whether you’re running a rotary cutter with your 6200, powering a round baler behind your 6400, or operating a feed mixer, your PTO sees constant use under varying loads and conditions. The seal faces the challenge of keeping oil in while the shaft spins at 540 or 1000 RPM through dust, heat, and vibration.
Made to Last
High-grade sealing materials resist breakdown from hot hydraulic oil and temperature cycling that would crack inferior seals. The precision-molded lips maintain proper contact pressure without gouging the shaft, while steel reinforcement prevents the distortion that causes premature failure. Built to handle the demands of modern farming where equipment runs longer and works harder than ever before.
Installation Notes
Clean the seal bore completely and check for scoring or wear before installation. Use a proper seal driver to install evenly – cocking the seal during installation guarantees a leak. Pre-lubricate the seal lips with clean hydraulic fluid. If your PTO shaft shows wear at the seal contact area, address that first or you’ll be replacing this seal again soon. Pro tip: PTO seal leaks often indicate worn bearings allowing shaft movement, so check for root causes while you’re in there.
