Description
When your PTO starts making noise, vibrating, or worse yet – quits working altogether – your expensive implements become useless yard art. These New Holland T6 and T7 series, Case Puma series (including CVT/CVX variants) tractors use sophisticated systems for PTO operation, and this replacement shaft gets things spinning smoothly again. No more wondering if your baler will engage or if that rotary cutter will start chattering halfway through the field.
What You’re Getting
- Precision-machined splines that lock in tight without slipping or grinding
- Properly balanced assembly eliminates that shake that travels through your whole seat
- Heavy-duty construction built to handle the full torque these big tractors put out
- Correct engagement length prevents damage to your PTO clutch and bearing

Built for Real Farm Work
The New Holland T6 series represents versatile mid-range tractors (95 to 180 horsepower) ideal for mixed farming operations, while the T7 series tractors (150 to 340 horsepower) deliver exceptional performance for intensive agricultural operations. Case IH Puma series tractors (115 to 240 horsepower) excel in diverse agricultural applications. Whether you’re running a big rotary cutter on your T7.270, baling heavy windrows with your Puma 200 CVX, or pulling a vertical tillage tool behind your T6.180, this shaft handles the power transfer these workhorses demand.
Made to Last
PTO shafts take a beating – they’ve got to transmit full engine power while dealing with shock loads and constant engagement cycles. This replacement uses quality steel construction and precise manufacturing to handle whatever you throw at it. The balanced design eliminates vibration that wears out bearings and makes those long days in the cab miserable.
Good to Know
Before you install the new shaft, take a look at your PTO clutch, bearing, and seal – if the shaft wore out, these components probably took some abuse too. Clean the splines thoroughly and apply high-temp grease, but don’t overdo it since excess grease attracts dirt. Make sure you get proper engagement – too shallow and it’ll slip, too deep and you risk damaging internal components.
