Description
When you’re routing hydraulic lines through tight spots or around obstacles, sometimes a straight fitting just won’t cut it. This 90-degree ORFS elbow lets you make clean turns without kinking your hose or creating stress points that’ll bite you later. The 90-degree swivel design lets you route hydraulic hose around corners and through crowded engine compartments without kinking or binding, while the ORFS threads create a leak-proof seal that’ll hold up to whatever pressure your hydraulics can throw at it.
What You’re Getting
- ORFS female threads provide superior sealing compared to standard NPT connections – no more chasing leaks
- 90-degree elbow design gets you around tight corners and obstacles without hose damage
- Crimp-on design for 1/2 inch hydraulic hose creates a permanent, reliable connection
- Heavy-duty construction built to handle the pressure and vibration of farm hydraulics
Built for Real Farm Work
This fitting is designed for the demanding hydraulic systems found on today’s tractors and farm equipment. Whether you’re working on a loader, three-point hitch system, or auxiliary hydraulics, this elbow handles the high pressures and constant flexing that comes with real farm work. The ORFS design is becoming the standard on newer equipment because it seals better and lasts longer than older thread styles.
Made to Last
Parker’s been making hydraulic fittings for decades, and this one’s built to their same high standards. The precision-machined threads and quality materials handle temperature swings, vibration, and the corrosive environment around farm equipment. The O-ring seal design means you get a reliable connection that won’t weep or fail when you’re counting on your hydraulics.
Installation Notes
This is a crimp-on fitting that requires the proper dies and crimping equipment for installation. The ORFS threads are straight threads with an O-ring seal, so don’t over-tighten them like you would pipe threads. Use a backup wrench on the hose end when tightening to prevent twisting the hose assembly. A good, square cut on your hose makes all the difference for a proper crimp.
