Good to Know
This is just the mesh element—you’ll also need the complete air cleaner plate assembly (part 62909) if you’re doing a full rebuild. Fill the oil cup to the marked level with the same grade oil used in your engine and make sure the mesh gets a light coating of oil when you install it. Regular maintenance involves dumping dirty oil, cleaning the cup, and refilling with fresh oil to keep your vintage Massey breathing easy.
