Installation Notes
This is a direct replacement that spins on like the original. Standard spin-on installation – clean the mounting surface, coat the new gasket with a thin film of oil, and hand-tighten plus three-quarters turn. Don’t overdo it with the wrench. The most important thing to remember is installing that D-ring on the sensor post – skip this step and you’ll be dealing with fuel leaks. This filter only works with Delphi oval sensors and isn’t interchangeable with the BF1293-SPS, so double-check your application before ordering.
