This kit fits the big engine Massey Ferguson tractors – the 165, 168, 175, 178, 185, 188, plus the 200 series models like the 265, 275, and 290 equipped with Perkins 4.212, 4.236, or 4.248 diesel engines. Installation Notes
This is a direct bolt-on replacement that doesn’t require any modifications. Clean all the mating surfaces thoroughly and use the new gaskets – don’t try to reuse the old ones. Follow proper torque specs and let the engine warm up gradually the first few times to let everything seat properly. If you’ve got the tools and experience, it’s a solid weekend project.
