Description
When your Massey’s brakes start getting sketchy, don’t wait until you can’t stop that loaded hay wagon. This pair of brake shoes with rigid lining brings back the stopping power your tractor had when it rolled off the assembly line. If you’re experiencing brake fade, uneven braking, or that heart-stopping moment when the pedal goes closer to the floor than it should, new brake shoes are probably the fix.
What You’re Getting
- Complete pair – both left and right shoes included so you replace both sides together
- Rigid lining material delivers positive braking action without any spongy feel
- Pre-drilled for standard rivet pattern – no modifications needed
- Compatible with replacement lining 1020 if you need to reline down the road
- Direct replacement for worn factory shoes with the same reliable performance
Built for Real Farm Work
These brake shoes fit the classic Massey Ferguson workhorses – the 20, 30, 35, and 135 series tractors that are still earning their keep on farms everywhere. Whether it’s the trusty MF35 that’s been in the family for generations or the bigger 135 handling loader duties, good brakes aren’t optional when you’re backing up to implements, holding on slopes while opening gates, or heading down the road with a loaded trailer.
Made to Last
The rigid lining material provides excellent stopping power and long wear life, working especially well in dry, dusty conditions where rubber linings might glaze over. The lining is thick enough to last for years of normal use, and the construction handles the constant vibration and stress of farm work.
Installation Notes
Always replace shoes as a pair – mixing old and new causes uneven braking and dangerous pulling to one side. Clean and inspect your brake drums while you’re in there, and adjust the brakes properly after installation. Too tight and they’ll overheat, too loose and you’ll have excessive pedal travel.
