Installation Notes
Use quality hydraulic thread sealant on the NPT side – pipe threads need it to seal properly. The JIC side seals metal-to-metal at the flare, so just hand-tight plus a quarter turn with a wrench is plenty. Don’t over-tighten either end or you’ll damage the threads and create leak paths.
