Description
When your planter’s drive chain starts showing wear or breaks mid-season, you need a replacement that’ll get you back in the field fast. This 96-link #41 roller chain is built to handle the constant cycling and loads that come with precision planting, whether you’re putting in corn, beans, or specialty crops.
What You’re Getting
- Standard carbon steel construction that stands up to field conditions and weather
- Precise 1/2-inch pitch spacing for smooth power transmission
- 96 links give you the exact length needed for proper drive system operation
- Quality rollers and pins that reduce friction and extend chain life
- Single strand design that’s lighter than heavier chains but still plenty strong
Built for Real Farm Work
This chain fits Kinze planters and other equipment using #41 roller chain in their drive systems. Planters put chains through their paces with frequent starts, stops, and direction changes as you work through fields, plus the vibration and dust that comes with the territory.
Made to Last
The carbon steel construction handles the loads and environmental challenges of farm work. Quality manufacturing means the chain runs smooth and quiet, reducing wear on your sprockets and extending the life of your drive system.
Good to Know
When installing, make sure you’ve got proper tension—too tight and you’ll overload bearings, too loose and you’ll get chain slap. A good rule of thumb is about 1/2 inch of deflection at the midpoint between sprockets. Keep some chain lube handy for periodic maintenance to get the most life out of your investment.
