Description
When you’re running a front-end loader or box blade and need precise control over how your attachment follows the ground, this valve gives you the control you need. The float position on the first spool lets your blade or bucket ride naturally with the contours—no fighting against the hydraulics when you’re doing finish work or moving material across uneven terrain.
What You’re Getting
- Double spool design handles two separate hydraulic functions independently
- First spool has 4-position control including crucial float position for ground-following work
- Second spool provides standard 3-position spring-centered operation
- Adjustable relief valve set at 2000 PSI protects your system from pressure spikes
- Built-in load holding check valves prevent cylinder drift when you park
Built for Real Farm Work
This valve is designed for tractors and skid steers running front-end loaders, box blades, or other ground-engaging attachments. The parallel flow paths mean you can operate both functions simultaneously without one stealing flow from the other—handy when you need to curl the bucket while lifting at the same time.
Made to Last
Cross builds these valves to handle the dirt, vibration, and temperature swings that come with farm work. The internal components are machined to close tolerances so they’ll maintain proper flow control even after thousands of cycles, and the housing is built tough enough to mount directly to your tractor without worrying about cracking.
Installation Notes
This is an open center valve, so it needs to be matched with an open center hydraulic system. The float position works by letting oil flow freely back to tank, so your attachment can move up and down with the ground instead of being hydraulically locked. Make sure your relief valve is properly adjusted before putting it to work.
