When you’re cutting across rolling pasture with your flex wing mower, you need a driveline that can handle the constant angle changes, debris impacts, and sudden load spikes that come with wide-area cutting. This Series BYPY 6 Metric Driveline gives you the heavy-duty power transmission your big mower demands, plus the safety protection of a friction clutch that’ll save your tractor’s PTO when you hit something you shouldn’t have.
What You’re Getting
- 64.11-inch compressed length perfectly sized for flex wing mower applications
- Friction clutch with 15,000 in*lb torque rating protects your tractor from shock loads
- Trilobe tubing design provides smooth power transfer with minimal vibration
- Complete assembly with both tractor and implement yokes – ready to install
- Spring-Lok tractor connection for quick, secure PTO engagement
Built for Real Farm Work
This driveline is engineered specifically for flex wing mowers that tackle everything from overgrown fence rows to wide pasture maintenance. The 1-3/4 X 20 spline clamp friction clutch on the implement end handles the demanding duty cycle of commercial mowing, while the versatile design works with various brands and models of three-section cutters.
Made to Last
Farm mowing equipment takes abuse that would destroy lighter drivelines. This Weasler series cross and bearing kit gives you everything needed to rebuild those worn universal joints, bringing back smooth power transmission when maintenance time comes. The Series 6 construction handles the torque requirements of today’s high-horsepower tractors without the premature wear that plagues cheaper alternatives.
Good to Know
The friction clutch is your friend – it’s designed to slip when you hit stumps, rocks, or other hidden obstacles instead of breaking expensive PTO components. Proper assembly has the grease fitting accessible for regular maintenance, so make sure to grease the U-joints every 10-15 hours of operation. If the clutch starts slipping during normal operation, it’s usually a sign the friction discs need adjustment or replacement.
