Description
When your PTO shaft starts vibrating or you’re getting that grinding noise from your drive system, it’s usually the coupling that’s giving up. A worn jaw coupling doesn’t just make noise—it can damage expensive equipment and leave you stuck in the field when you can least afford it. This complete coupling assembly gets you back up and running with everything you need in one package.
What You’re Getting
- Complete assembly with two coupling bodies and spider—no hunting for separate pieces
- Heavy-duty sintered iron or cast iron construction that handles high torque loads
- Oil-resistant Buna-N spider that stays flexible from -40°F to +212°F
- Hollow head setscrews for secure mounting without shaft damage
- No lubrication required once installed—one less maintenance item to worry about
Built for Real Farm Work
This coupling connects drive shafts in all kinds of agricultural equipment, from PTO drives on hay balers and mowers to pump drives on irrigation systems. The flexible spider design handles the misalignment and vibration that’s part of everyday farm work, while the cast iron bodies transfer power without slipping or wearing out.
Made to Last
The spider is made from oil-resistant material that won’t deteriorate from hydraulic fluid or diesel spills. It accommodates up to 1 degree of angular misalignment and 0.015 inches of parallel misalignment, so your shafts don’t have to be perfectly lined up to work smoothly. The coupling bodies are built tough enough to handle the shock loads that come with field work.
Installation Notes
This is a complete assembly, so you get both coupling halves and the spider in one package. Make sure your shaft diameters match the coupling bore size before ordering. When installing, don’t overtighten the setscrews—they’re designed to grip without crushing the shaft. A little anti-seize compound on the threads makes future removal easier if you ever need to service it.
