Description
When your loader starts moving sluggish or your three-point hitch gets jerky, there’s a good chance dirty hydraulic oil is the culprit. Contaminated hydraulic fluid doesn’t just slow things down—it can destroy expensive pumps, valves, and cylinders that cost thousands to replace. This Baldwin hydraulic filter keeps your hydraulic system running smooth and protects those high-dollar components from the dirt and debris that turns them into scrap metal.
What You’re Getting
- High-efficiency filtration that captures harmful particles before they can damage sensitive hydraulic components
- 1000 PSI minimum burst rating handles the pressure spikes that come with heavy hydraulic work
- 1 3/8 – 12 thread size provides secure mounting without adapters or modifications
- 9 19/32 inch length and 3 3/4 inch diameter for proper fit and adequate filtration capacity
- Baldwin quality construction that withstands vibration, temperature swings, and demanding work cycles
Built for Real Farm Work
This filter is designed for John Deere tractors and equipment that rely on clean hydraulic fluid for everything from loader operations and three-point hitch control to power steering and implement remotes. Whether you’re running a utility tractor for daily chores or operating larger equipment for field work, your hydraulic system is constantly working hard, and clean oil is essential for reliable operation when you need it most.
Made to Last
Baldwin has been making filters for decades, and they understand what it takes to handle farm conditions. The filter media captures contaminants while maintaining proper hydraulic flow, and the robust construction stands up to the pressure fluctuations and harsh environments your equipment faces every day. The 1000 PSI burst rating gives you confidence that this filter won’t fail when your hydraulic system is working hardest.
Installation Notes
This is a direct spin-on replacement that threads right onto your existing filter base. Before installation, clean the filter mounting surface and apply a thin coat of hydraulic oil to the gasket. Hand-tighten three-quarters turn after the gasket contacts the base—over-tightening can damage the seal and cause leaks. Change filters every 500-1000 hours or per your operator’s manual, and always use the opportunity to check your hydraulic oil level and condition.
