Description
When dirt, water, or debris gets into your fuel system, you’re not just looking at poor performance—you’re risking serious damage to expensive injection components that can cost thousands to replace. Clean fuel is the lifeblood of your diesel engine, and this fuel strainer is your first line of defense against the dirt, water, and contamination that can destroy expensive injection systems. This handy inline strainer catches the problems before they reach your fuel pump and injectors, keeping your tractor running smooth when there’s work to be done.
Key Features
- Right-to-left flow direction ensures proper fuel circulation through your system
- 1/2 inch 20 UNF threaded connections for secure, leak-free installation
- Inline design fits neatly into existing fuel lines without major modifications
- Catches particles and debris before they can damage your injection pump or injectors
- Easy to service and maintain when it’s time for cleaning or replacement
Built for Real Farm Work
This strainer works great on general purpose tractors across many different brands and applications. Whether you’re running a utility tractor for hay operations, doing loader work around the farm, or pulling implements for field preparation, clean fuel keeps your engine running at peak performance. Clean fuel is absolutely critical for keeping your tractor running smoothly, especially with today’s high-pressure injection systems that don’t tolerate dirt and water very well.
Made to Last
Farm fuel faces unique challenges from moisture condensation in storage tanks to contamination during handling and transfer. This filter uses quality media that captures particles and separates water before they can reach your engine’s sensitive fuel injection components. Modern diesel systems operate at extremely high pressures and tight tolerances, making them particularly vulnerable to contamination damage.
Installation Notes
The strainer installs inline in your fuel system with standard 1/2 inch 20 UNF fittings. Make sure you get the flow direction right—it’s designed for right-to-left flow as marked. Always relieve fuel system pressure before installation and have rags ready to catch any spillage. Prime your fuel system after installation to prevent air pockets that can cause rough running.
